Sundsvall

The city by the sea, between the mountains. That's Sundsvall. But it also has extensive forests and small towns.
Sundsvall is southern Norrland's metropolis and has most things. Everything from countless shops for shopaholics to a surprising number of restaurants for those who want to eat well.
Here is also Sweden's first casino. Sport is something else that characterises this city. The Sundsvall Dragons are the reigning Swedish champions and GIF Sundsvall is a top football team. In the neighbouring municipality, just a few minutes away, you can find top team the Timrå Red Eagles.
Another important aspect is that the city is like no other at this latitude. That's because the whole city centre burned down at the end of the 1800s and was subsequently rebuilt in stone.
